Offshore HSE Advisor

OFSHORE HSE ADVISOR

Earthstream are currently looking for an Offshore HSE Advisor to assist a project in Denmark. This is to play a critical role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance during the foundation and installation phase of an offshore windfarm project. The successful candidate will be an experienced HSE professional with a solid background in offshore safety.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Monitor and ensure compliance with offshore health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations during all foundation and installation activities.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits of all offshore operations, ensuring that safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Promote a safety-first culture by leading by example and engaging personnel on the importance of safe practices.
• Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and implement appropriate control measures to mitigate health, safety, and environmental risks.
• Participate in the development, implementation, and ongoing review of the project's HSE management system.
• Ensure that risk assessments are conducted before any new offshore operations, with mitigation measures in place.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all offshore safety matters and coordinate between offshore teams and onshore support.
• Maintain and document all HSE records, reports, inspections, audits, and incident investigations in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare safety performance reports and provide updates on HSE progress to senior management.

Requirements (but not limited to):

• Minimum of 5 years of offshore HSE experience, preferably within the renewable energy, offshore wind, or oil & gas sectors.
• Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Experience with offshore wind farm foundations and installation is highly required.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Offshore medical and survival certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET, STCW).
• Valid Offshore Safety Training (e.g., MIST, OPITO) and other relevant industry-specific qualifications.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent safety management qualifications.
